Cheeseheads

Yesterday I drove to Ashland, Wisconsin to see Jared and Krystal. I decided on the drive that there is little to see/do on the aprox. 85 miles between Duluth and Ashland.

The night in Ashland was fun though. We walked out to the end of an abandoned iron ore bridge approx. 1/3 mile on Lake Superior. The walk was trecherous during dusk/darkness because there are lots of spots to slip into the lake and the 9 inch wide walk-way was spotted with black ice.

After our adventure we made a lovely meal and were pretty lathargic afterwards. I made the trip back to Duluth this morning.
